Becoming pregnant is not easy for some couples. In Greece, an estimated 300,000 couples are infertile. For women who go through the physical upheaval of fertility treatments and IVF the emotional burden can be overwhelming. Anxiety, depression, stress and panic are common mood disorders women and couples experience in their quest to fulfill their life-long dream of mothering and fathering a child. Supporting a woman and couple going through infertility is not an easy process. Frustration, sadness, anger are all normal feelings when you are going through what is an endless period of anticipation where the only guarantee is holding that healthy baby after birth. For some couples it may mean coming to terms with ending pregnancy attempts altogether or considering adoption or fostering.

A woman or couple who seek our support can be certain that we’re here to listen.
